This artwork represents the beauty, connection and growth of the First Nation communities of Meanjin (Brisbane).
The curved lines represent the Brisbane river, Maiwar, a powerful life-source which flows through the city having sustained generations for thousands of years.
The colours used in the artwork include multiple variations of pinks, purples, yellows, and oranges which symbolize the vibrancy of the city and the warmth of the seasons.
