"Mapping of Mind" designed by First Nations Contemporary Artist Emily Joanna Reid.
This artwork depicts the trail of thoughts and the mapping of our own minds.
Our minds are a powerful tool that help fliter out negative, unwanted thoughts in order for us to present impactful speech, guidance and wisdom to people who surround us.
In this design the unique shapes, dots and lines represent having many different ideas, words and information that we obsorb on a daily basis. People tend to say we can hold alot of chaos in our mind that forms randomly but can equally be as pretty and connected.
The blended colours of pink represent the thought process. It’s smooth and flowing heading towards the outside of the mind which processes and filters what we say and do.
The connected shapes that are shown in the centre represent the various important conversations that we can share with people throughout our lives that are guarded by the thick white lines which represent barriers of trust.
